Job Details
As the Demand Planner, you will be instrumental in crafting a unified demand forecast that aligns with the company’s operational goals and market expectations. Working across various timeframes (short to long-term), you will ensure alignment with key stakeholders, enabling seamless supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a consolidated forecast, harmonizing statistical data with real-time market intelligence.
- Lead and enhance the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring cross-functional collaboration and alignment.
- Provide precise demand signals to procurement and operations teams, enabling optimized raw material sourcing and production planning.
- Act as the liaison between commercial teams and operations, offering insights to mitigate potential gaps between forecasted and actual demand.
- Continuously refine demand plans to reflect evolving market dynamics and strategic goals.
- Monitor and report key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy and bias, driving process improvements organization-wide.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain management, or data analytics roles within manufacturing
- Experience in Food Specialities / Nutrition / Food Ingredients will be an advantage
- Exceptional proficiency with data management tools, including advanced Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and business intelligence platforms.
- Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Collaborative and adaptable approach, excelling in matrixed and fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage diverse teams and stakeholders.
