Our client — a global industrial manufacturer — is accelerating its transition towards Industry 4.0. They are seeking a visionary Director – Digital Transformation to lead digital integration across their manufacturing and engineering sites across APAC. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends engineering intelligence, operational excellence, and digital strategy, driving measurable outcomes across automation, productivity, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of the company’s Digital Transformation roadmap, focusing on smart factory and Industry 4.0 implementation.
- Integrate IoT, MES, and AI-driven analytics into production environments to enhance visibility and predictive control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure successful technology adoption on shop floors.
- Drive change management, training, and governance for digital innovation projects across multiple sites.
- Partner with global stakeholders to benchmark technologies and scale best practices regionally.
Job Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in engineering, automation, or digital manufacturing transformation.
- Proven success leading multi-site implementation of MES / SCADA / IoT platforms.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process control, and data integration.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and change leadership.
Hands-on experience working with digital ecosystems — e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, AVEVA, Schneider, or similar.
