Our client, a leading International Chemicals Player, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Equipment Operations Lead to join their team. This critical role involves overseeing the operation and maintenance of field equipment, ensuring its reliability and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling and troubleshooting equipment, with in-depth knowledge of PLC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operations and maintenance of field equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, utilizing PLC knowledge to diagnose and repair faults.
- Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to optimize equipment functionality and efficiency.
- Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data, making recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure all equipment-related activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Provide technical support and training to the operations team on equipment handling and troubleshooting.
- Lead and participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations related to field equipment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in equipment operations and maintenance within the chemical or related industry.
- Strong expertise in handling and troubleshooting field equipment, with advanced knowledge of PLC systems.
- Solid understanding of preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and training technical teams.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards related to equipment operations.
