With a commitment to innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, the company is seeking three skilled Field Service Engineers to join its growing team in Singapore.
Job Details
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of advanced industrial equipment. This role requires a hands-on professional with strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and customer-facing experience. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working onsite at customer locations, ensuring optimal machine performance and resolving complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation & Commissioning: Set up, test, and configure new equipment at customer sites.
- Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues in industrial machinery.
- Maintenance & Repairs: Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Customer Training: Provide hands-on training to client teams on proper machine operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service records, submit technical reports, and communicate findings to customers and internal teams.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work closely with R&D, Sales, and Service teams to provide feedback on product performance and recommend design improvements.
Job Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or equivalent).
- 4+ years of experience in field service, industrial automation, or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Hands-on experience with PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and robotics is an advantage.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with occasional travel.
- Class 3 driving license is a plus (for site visits).
