Head of Data & AI - Smart Manufacturing

As part of a global initiative to modernize data and analytics across its manufacturing network, our client is seeking an accomplished Head of Data & AI – Smart Operations. This role will architect and lead data-driven intelligence initiatives that power predictive maintenance, yield optimization, and real-time process insights — advancing the company’s transformation toward a truly connected, intelligent enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the Data & AI strategy for manufacturing operations across Asia.
- Build and lead cross-functional teams spanning data engineering, analytics, and AI deployment.
- Oversee the development of predictive and prescriptive models for plant performance, reliability, and quality.
- Establish robust data governance, infrastructure, and visualization frameworks (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Power BI, etc.).
- Partner with IT, engineering, and operations teams to integrate data solutions seamlessly into production workflows.
Job Requirements
- 10–15 years of experience in data analytics, digital manufacturing, or industrial AI.
- Proven track record deploying machine learning models or analytics solutions in manufacturing or process industries.
- Solid understanding of data architecture, governance, and integration across OT/IT systems.
Strategic thinker with technical depth — capable of influencing business transformation at leadership level.
