Job Details
Our client is a leading International Specialty Chemicals Business, and they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the utilities systems at their state-of-the-art plant in Singapore. This is a key position where you will be responsible for the reliability, efficiency, and safety of all utilities, including water treatment, compressed air systems, steam generation, refrigeration, and HVAC.
- Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure the optimal performance of all utilities systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operations.
- Oversee the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of utilities equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to optimize utilities usage and improve energy efficiency.
- Manage maintenance budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are documented and comply with industry standards and company policies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability and performance of utilities systems.
- Lead and participate in safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in maintenance management within the chemical, petrochemical, or related industry.
- Proven expertise in managing utilities systems covering water treatment / steam generation / HVAC.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and CMMS software.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
