Job Details
Our client is a leading food specialty business seeking an experienced and hands-on Food Factory Process Lead to oversee production planning, ingredient and packaging management, as well as supply chain operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring smooth and efficient facility operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and productivity
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of production planning, including ingredient and packaging inventory management, as well as coordinating supply chain processes (receiving and dispatching).
- Develop and implement workflows to ensure efficient plant operations and meet production goals throughout the year.
- Supervise daily operations on the factory floor, providing hands-on leadership to the production team to maintain a high level of performance.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices to continuously improve production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges in a timely manner, working closely with the team to address any operational issues.
- Collect, analyze, and consolidate quantitative and qualitative data to generate performance reports and recommend improvements.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in food factory operations, with a focus on production planning and supply chain management.
- A highly motivated, driven individual who works well independently and is capable of leading a team to achieve production targets.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail, with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Proven planning, organizational, and project management skills, especially in production and supply chain processes.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
