Job Details
A global leader in the Chemicals industry with a world-class production site in Singapore is on the lookout for a Head of Production—a strategic, hands-on leader who can balance operational excellence with people leadership in a highly regulated and safety-first environment.
You’ll be the driving force behind plant production activities—leading large-scale manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance, streamlining production efficiency, and fostering a strong safety culture. You’ll work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and HSE to deliver on output, performance, and continuous improvement KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple production units in a high-volume chemical plant.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians.
- Drive process optimization, capacity improvement, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Champion safety, quality, and compliance in line with global and local regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams on strategic production planning and plant upgrades.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
- 12+ years of experience in chemical plant operations, including at least 5 years in a senior production or plant leadership role.
- Proven track record managing large teams and complex production processes.
- Strong knowledge of EHS, ISO, and GMP/compliance requirements in chemical environments.
- Decisive leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
