leading industrial player is seeking a Regional Head – Utilities & Sustainability to spearhead utility management and sustainability initiatives across its international operations. This role will be pivotal in optimizing utility efficiency, advancing decarbonization efforts, and driving operational improvements through innovative technology and data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead utility and sustainability projects across multiple international sites, ensuring operational excellence and energy efficiency.
  • Implement and enhance utility data monitoring systems, ensuring accuracy and real-time visualization for informed decision-making.
  • Drive the adoption of new utility technologies and establish standardized utility designs across all locations.
  • Oversee program management for energy optimization, cost reduction, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure equipment performance and efficiency through continuous data analysis and improvement strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with plant operations, engineering, and corporate teams to align with sustainability and energy goals.
  • Engage with governmental agencies and represent the company in external utility-related activities.
  • Develop strategies for carbon footprint reduction and foster a culture of energy conservation and sustainability.
  • Conduct training and knowledge-sharing to enhance efficiency and reliability across regional facilities.

Job Requirements

  • Strong background in utility management, sustainability, and industrial engineering within a manufacturing or large-scale operations environment.
  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in multi-site energy efficiency and sustainability programs.
  • Expertise in utility operations, energy efficiency, and sustainable technology adoption.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills to collaborate across internal and external teams.
  • Experience in liaising with government agencies and regulatory bodies on sustainability and energy matters.
  • Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive sustainability transformations at a regional level.
