Job Details
Stemgenic works with data centre developers, operators, design consultancies and cooling technology providers across Asia-Pacific to engage mechanical engineering talent on a contract basis for high-density, energy-efficient facilities.
We are building a confidential talent pool of Mechanical Engineers, Cooling Engineers and HVAC Specialists available for project-based contracts, with experience in data centre cooling, including emerging liquid cooling technologies for AI and high-performance computing workloads.
Typical Scope of Roles We Recruit For
- Cooling Design & Engineering: Design and optimise HVAC and cooling systems, including chillers, CRAH/CRAC units and air management.
- Liquid Cooling: Support the design or deployment of direct-to-chip and immersion cooling solutions.
- Energy Efficiency: Improve cooling performance and PUE through system optimisation.
- Project Support: Coordinate with electrical, controls and construction teams through delivery and commissioning.
- Technical Documentation: Prepare calculations, specifications and design reviews.
Job Requirements
- Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Technical Expertise
- Experience in HVAC or cooling systems for data centres or other mission-critical environments.
- Exposure to liquid cooling technologies would be an added advantage.
- Ideal Industry Background & Alternative Industries
- Data centre developers, operators, MEP consultancies and cooling technology providers.
- Professionals from semiconductor cleanrooms, pharmaceutical facilities or district cooling may also be considered.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
