A leading international fragrance house is seeking a Fragrance Evaluator to join its Singapore-based team on a permanent basis. This role sits at the heart of the organisation’s fragrance creation and evaluation function, supporting a broad portfolio of regional and global projects.
This is a true evaluator role — focused on olfactive judgement, fragrance performance, and technical rigour — working in close collaboration with Perfumers, Application, and R&D teams.
The role
As a Fragrance Evaluator, you will be responsible for evaluating fragrances across multiple categories and applications, providing clear and structured feedback to Perfumers, and ensuring olfactive quality and consistency throughout the development lifecycle.
You will contribute from a sensory and technical perspective, helping shape fragrance direction in line with internal standards, briefs, and performance expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate fragrances for olfactive quality, balance, and performance
- Provide precise, constructive feedback to Perfumers during creation and optimisation
- Support fragrance reformulation, benchmarking, and quality alignment activities
- Participate in internal sensory panels and evaluation sessions
- Assess stability, consistency, and performance across applications
- Work closely with Perfumery, Application, and Technical teams
- Uphold high sensory and technical standards across all assigned projects
Job Requirements
- Formal training and hands-on experience as a Fragrance Evaluator
- Well-developed olfactive acuity and strong sensory memory
- Ability to articulate sensory feedback clearly and objectively
- Solid understanding of fragrance structures and performance drivers
- Detail-oriented, disciplined, and technically grounded
