We are partnering with a leading Industrial Service provider to seek a Laboratory Manager with expertise in Analytical Chemistry, particularly in Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) and X-ray Fluorescence (XRF) techniques. This role offers a unique opportunity to oversee laboratory operations, drive technical advancements, and collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the analytical laboratory, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to quality standards.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods using ICP and XRF instrumentation.
- Manage and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.
- Oversee instrument maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration activities.
- Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of analytical data through rigorous quality control measures.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support project objectives and deliver actionable insights.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in analytical chemistry, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience with ICP and XRF instrumentation, including method development and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge in Precious Metals recovery will be a huge advantage
- Proven track record in laboratory management or supervisory roles, with strong leadership and communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of analytical chemistry principles and techniques.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
