Job Details
Our client is a globally recognized OEM specializing in Advanced Industrial HVAC and Cooling Solutions. They are seeking a technical expert with a strong background in HVAC systems and industrial cooling solutions to join their team in Singapore. This is a permanent role that will provide technical support across the APAC region. Reporting to the Technical Head, this role will be responsible for :
Key Responsibilities:
- Pre-Sales & Technical Sales Support – Work closely with sales teams, consultants, and contractors to optimize system design, product selection, and value engineering solutions.
- P&ID Interpretation & System Optimization – Evaluate and interpret P&ID diagrams for hydronic, HVAC, and mechanical applications to ensure accurate system performance and efficiency.
- HVAC & Industrial Cooling Systems Expertise – Provide technical leadership in chilled water plant automation, variable flow pumping systems, district cooling, cooling tower operations, and BMS integration.
- Customer & Partner Engagement – Collaborate with MEP consultants, EPC contractors, facility managers, and system integrators to develop optimized technical solutions.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing – Conduct technical training sessions for sales teams, partners, and key stakeholders across APAC.
- Industry Focus – Work on projects in data centers, semiconductor manufacturing, healthcare facilities, pharmaceutical plants, commercial buildings, and industrial cooling applications.
- Project Engineering & Solution Development – Support project-specific solutions, tender clarifications, cost-benefit articulation, and ensure seamless project execution.
- Stakeholder Management & CRM – Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, business development teams, and external clients, ensuring alignment with sales strategies.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, Thermal Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in Technical sales, Application engineering, Technical Support, Sales & Application, pre-sales support, or customer-facing technical roles.
- Strong expertise in Industrial HVAC | Hydronics | Fluid cooling solutions | Chilled water systems and related products and technologies
- Proficiency in P&ID drawings interpretation for HVAC and mechanical applications.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, business systems, and engineering software for product selection and system modeling.
- Excellent problem-solving and Analytical skills
