We are hiring on behalf of a leading international food specialties business seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the Philippines market. The role focuses on strengthening key accounts, expanding the customer base, and working closely with technical and category teams to translate market opportunities into sustainable business results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow strategic customer relationships across the Philippines market
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities within food manufacturing and related sectors
  • Deliver revenue growth in line with commercial targets and market expansion plans
  • Partner with internal technical, category, and applications teams to progress customer projects and close opportunities
  • Manage customer programs and commercial activities from initial engagement through execution
  • Respond to client requests, resolve issues, and maintain strong service standards
  • Lead commercial discussions, prepare proposals, and negotiate pricing while maintaining profitability
  • Maintain structured customer visit reporting and pipeline tracking within internal systems
  • Deliver customer presentations, participate in market events, and support commercial campaigns
  • Coordinate customer visits, distributor engagement, and business reviews
  • Track competitor movements, pricing shifts, and broader market dynamics
  • Provide regular performance updates and commercial reports to leadership

Job Requirements

  • Experience in business development, sales, or key account management within the food ingredients, food specialties, or related B2B sectors
  • Preference for candidates with experience in flavoring or food ingredients companies
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing complex customer engagements
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical, marketing, and operational stakeholders
  • Proven track record in driving market growth and meeting sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with structured reporting tools and CRM/SAP environments is advantageous
