Job Details
Lead the Quality laboratory setup and analytical operations for a new specialty chemicals manufacturing facility in Singapore. Establish the QC function from day one, including a mandatory 4-week training programme at the European headquarters prior to production start.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead routine and non-routine analytical testing activities
- Support commissioning and setup of the QC laboratory
- Oversee laboratory documentation, SOPs, calibration, and quality records
- Support investigations relating to product deviations, CAPA, and customer complaints
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Quality Executives
- Partner closely with Production, HSE, and overseas Quality stakeholders
Job Requirements
- 5–8 years of QC laboratory experience within manufacturing
- Strong wet chemistry and laboratory instrumentation exposure
- Experience leading small laboratory teams (mandatory)
- Exposure to polyurethane, epoxy, silicone, polymer, or specialty chemicals preferred
Strong quality-system and manufacturing support experience
