Regional Business Development Director – Asia

A well-established specialty chemicals company is looking for a Regional Business Development Director to lead its commercial growth across Asia. This is a senior-level position with direct responsibility for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and leading a team of Country Managers across the region. The role is fully focused on driving revenue growth and building long-term client relationships with key FMCG and personal care manufacturers in Asia. We’re looking for someone who can build and execute a clear commercial strategy, has strong regional experience, and knows how to open doors in complex B2B environments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead regional business development activities across Asia with a focus on new client acquisition and strategic account expansion
• Manage and mentor Country Managers across key Asia markets
• Build strong, lasting relationships with senior decision-makers at client companies
• Drive revenue growth in line with business objectives
• Collaborate with internal teams on product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market planning
• Stay close to market trends, client needs, and competitor movements to guide commercial decisions
