We are working in close partnership with a leading international flavors and fragrance group on a confidential retained search to appoint a senior regional leader. This mandate represents a key part of the company’s long-term growth strategy regionally and calls for a proven industry leader who can shape the client agenda, build enduring relationships with global and regional customers, and expand the business into new and emerging markets.
The mandate:
This individual will assume responsibility for the company’s client-facing agenda across the region – overseeing the management of key strategic accounts while accelerating growth through new business opportunities. The scope spans market development, relationship management, and leadership of high-performing teams.
Key Focus Areas
- Strategic Growth: Shape and execute plans to expand the business across the region.
- Key Accounts: Deepen relationships with major clients and global brands, ensuring alignment with their innovation and supply chain needs.
- Market Expansion: Identify emerging opportunities, forge new partnerships, and lead entry into untapped markets.
- Leadership: Inspire, guide, and collaborate with regional teams to deliver excellence across all client-facing functions.
Job Requirements
- Established leadership credentials within the fragrance industry, with a deep understanding of its customers, markets, and value chain.
- A demonstrable record of scaling multi-market operations, driving growth through strategic partnerships, key account leadership, and the introduction of innovative, customer-focused solutions.
- Strong presence, relationship-building ability, and cultural agility to engage at the most senior levels, both internally and externally.
Location: Ideally, this role will be based in Singapore; however, there is flexibility for it to be based in Thailand or Malaysia depending on the candidate’s preference and suitability.
