Stemgenic works with data centre operators and critical facilities management providers across Asia-Pacific to engage operations leaders on a contract basis to keep mission-critical sites running safely and reliably.
We are building a confidential talent pool of Critical Facilities Managers, Data Centre Operations Managers and Site Engineering Leads available for contract assignments, responsible for the uptime, maintenance and performance of live data centre facilities.
Typical Scope of Roles We Recruit For
- Facility Operations: Manage the day-to-day operation of critical power, cooling and building systems to maintain availability targets.
- Maintenance Management: Lead planned and corrective maintenance programmes, working with vendors and service partners.
- Incident & Change Management: Oversee incident response, root cause analysis and change control procedures (MOP/SOP/EOP).
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety standards, permit-to-work and site regulations.
- Team & Vendor Leadership: Lead shift engineering teams and manage contractor performance
Job Requirements
- Education & Professional Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Electrical, Mechanical or Facilities Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant facilities or data centre certifications would be advantageous.
- Technical Expertise
- Experience operating mission-critical facilities, with strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with BMS/EPMS and CMMS platforms.
- Ideal Industry Background & Alternative Industries
- Data centre operators and critical facilities management providers.
- Professionals from hospitals, semiconductor fabs or other 24/7 critical environments may also be considered.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Calm, decisive leadership in high-availability environments.
- Strong communication with clients, vendors and internal teams.
- Other Details
Willing to travel for project requirements across Singapore, Malaysia and the wider APAC region.
