Job Details
Stemgenic partners with engineering design consultancies, EPC contractors and data centre developers across Asia-Pacific to engage electrical engineering leaders on a contract basis for mission-critical projects.
We are building a confidential talent pool of Electrical Engineering Managers, Lead Electrical Engineers and Senior Electrical Designers available for project-based contracts, with experience in high-voltage and low-voltage power systems for data centres and other critical facilities.
Typical Scope of Roles We Recruit For
- Electrical Design Leadership: Lead the design of HV/LV distribution, critical power, UPS, generator and switchgear systems.
- Design Coordination: Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, architectural and structural disciplines.
- Standards & Compliance: Ensure designs meet relevant codes, client standards and resilience requirements.
- Technical Review: Review vendor submissions, shop drawings and technical specifications.
- Team Development: Mentor and guide electrical engineers and designers.
Job Requirements
- Education & Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Professional Engineer (PE) registration would be advantageous.
- Technical Expertise
- Experience designing electrical systems for data centres or other mission-critical facilities.
Strong knowledge of power system studies, redundancy design and critical power architecture.
- Ideal Industry Background & Alternative Industries
- Engineering consultancies, EPC contractors and data centre developers.
Professionals from semiconductor, pharmaceutical or other high-tech facility design may also be considered.
- Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Strong technical leadership and client-facing communication skills.
Structured approach to design quality and coordination.
- Other Details
- Willing to travel for project requirements across Singapore, Malaysia and the wider APAC region.
