Job Details
Our client is a well-established industrial technology company supporting manufacturers and machine builders across Southeast Asia.
They are looking to engage Application Engineers with strong technical knowledge in automation, control systems, drives, motion control, sensors, or industrial components.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical application support to customers, distributors, and internal sales teams.
- Recommend suitable automation, motion control, drive, sensor, or industrial component solutions.
- Support product selection, sizing, troubleshooting, and system configuration.
- Conduct technical presentations, product demonstrations, and customer training.
- Work with sales teams to support proposals, quotations, and solution positioning.
- Support customer projects from pre-sales through commissioning and after-sales support.
Job Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, Automation, or related engineering discipline.
- 3–7 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales support, or product support.
- Exposure to PLC, drives, motors, sensors, pneumatics, hydraulics, power transmission, or automation components.
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing confidence.
Suitable for Application Engineers, Sales Engineers, Product Specialists, or Technical Support Engineers.
