A global OEM powerhouse — known for engineering excellence and decades of industrial innovation — is strengthening its footprint across Asia. As they expand their APAC commercial operations, we are partnering with them to appoint a Regional Commercial Director, based in Thailand, to shape and lead their next chapter of growth.
This is a role for someone who doesn’t just “manage” a region… but owns it. Someone who can walk into a boardroom with confidence, step into a plant with credibility, and navigate the commercial battlefield with a strategist’s mind and an operator’s instinct.
What You Will Lead
- Regional Growth Strategy: Define and execute the commercial and go-to-market strategy for Thailand and key SEA markets, ensuring long-term, profitable growth.
- Leadership of Sales & Technical Teams: Lead, mentor, and elevate high-performing commercial teams across direct sales, channel partners, and technical support.
- Key Account Ownership: Strengthen relationships with major industrial clients across manufacturing, process industries, OEMs, EPCs, and system integrators.
- Market Expansion: Identify untapped opportunities, evaluate market trends, and create clear pathways for penetration into new segments.
- Commercial Excellence: Drive pricing strategy, margin optimization, pipeline discipline, and accurate forecasting across the region.
- Cross-Border Collaboration: Partner closely with global leadership, regional operations, and product teams to align strategy and ensure seamless execution.
Job Requirements
- Strong commercial leadership experience within industrial OEMs, machinery, engineering solutions, or related industrial technology sectors.
- Proven success managing regional P&L, developing markets, and scaling commercial operations.
- Experience leading multicultural teams across ASEAN.
- A solid understanding of industrial customers — from factories to field operations.
- A forward-thinking mindset with a strong grounding in traditional commercial fundamentals.
Ability to travel across the region as needed.
