Job Details

We are supporting a leading international industrial player operating a state-of-the-art production facility in Singapore. This is a senior site-level role for someone who understands that reliability is not maintenance — it is a business and risk discipline.

You will own and embed the asset reliability and process integrity framework for a high-complexity production site, aligning process safety, availability, lifecycle cost, and risk-based decision making into one coherent system. This role sits at the intersection of engineering, operations, maintenance, asset management, and capital projects, with strong linkage to global centres of excellence.

What You Will Be Responsible For

  • Reliability & Asset Integrity Leadership
    • Define and drive a site-wide reliability and asset integrity strategy aligned with global standards and business objectives
    • Embed reliability fundamentals across design, operation, maintenance, and projects
    • Act as thesite authority on reliability risk, asset integrity, and risk-based work selection
  • Process Safety & Risk Integration
    • Partner with Process Safety and Operations to integrate HSE and financial risk assessments
    • Facilitate and govern FMEA, RCM, equipment criticality assessments, and risk ranking
    • Lead reliability input into incident investigations and learning loops
  • Reliability Systems & Governance
    • Develop and sustain leading and lagging reliability KPIs
    • Own the bad actor programme, equipment health governance, and obsolescence strategies
    • Strengthen spare parts philosophy based on criticality and lifecycle cost
  • Cross-Functional & Project Interface
    • Interface with capital projects to ensure reliability deliverables are built in, not bolted on
    • Coach discipline engineers and operations teams on reliability-driven decision making
    • Drive cross-site knowledge sharing and continuous improvement

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related)
  • 8+ years in process manufacturing / refining / oil & gas / energy / complex industrial plants
  • 5+ years in reliability, asset integrity, operations engineering, or asset management roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with RCM, FMEA, criticality analysis, lifecycle cost analysis
