As they continue to expand their footprint, they are seeking an experienced Lead HSEQ professional to drive their safety culture and regulatory compliance across key operations.
Role Overview
As the Lead HSEQ, you will play a critical role in developing, implementing, and managing all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) for the company’s Singapore operations and beyond. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with industry standards, mitigating operational risks, and driving continuous improvements in workplace safety and environmental sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & Implement HSEQ Policies – Establish robust HSEQ frameworks, ensuring alignment with global standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
- Risk Management & Compliance – Lead risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations, ensuring compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 certifications.
- Operational Safety Leadership – Champion a zero-incident culture by embedding safety best practices and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
- Training & Development – Drive HSEQ awareness programs, coaching, and continuous learning to empower teams with the knowledge and skills needed for a safe and compliant workplace.
- Stakeholder & Regulatory Engagement – Liaise with government agencies, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and best-in-class HSEQ practices.
- Sustainability & Environmental Initiatives – Oversee sustainability programs focused on reducing environmental impact, energy efficiency, and waste management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- 10+ years of HSEQ leadership experience within Industrial OEM, Machinery, or Heavy Manufacturing industries.
- Strong knowledge of APAC HSEQ regulations, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Proven ability to lead audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence a strong safety culture across multinational teams.
- Experience in driving sustainability and environmental compliance programs is an advantage.
